MIKOWEN INDUSTRIES, located in Richmond, Virginia was founded by Mike Owen. We provide products and services to the corrugated packaging industry. Mike is an Electrical Engineer from Virginia Tech who spent the first portion of his career with The Ward Machinery Company where he worked closely with customers on some of the industries most challenging problems. Under Mike's leadership, our company now has several patent pending upgrades for Die Cutters and Flexo Folder Gluers of all vintages and manufacturers. We continue to work closely with our customers to improve productivity and quality in this industry.In 2008, we acquired the assets of R&D Manufacturing which is a full service CNC machine shop. With this acquisition, our capabilities are expanding rapidly with many new concepts being tested daily. We take a fresh look at things like Feed Tables, Anilox Rolls, Ink Pumps, Doctor Blades, Anvil Wear, Stackers, Registers, Registration Controls and many other processes that are important parts in the manufacturing of Corrugated Boxes and Displays.
